Trauma Healing Intensive Sessions
Sometimes, meaningful healing requires more time than a traditional therapy session can provide.
Trauma Healing Intensives are designed for individuals who are ready to do the deeper work and engage in focused, uninterrupted therapeutic work in a safe, supportive environment. My approach is grounded in the science of memory reconsolidation, the brain's remarkable ability to update emotional learnings that were formed during painful or overwhelming experiences. Rather than simply managing symptoms, we work together to identify and transform the deeper patterns that continue to shape how you think, feel, and respond today.
Drawing from Coherence Therapy, IFS-informed parts work, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and other trauma-informed approaches, each intensive is thoughtfully tailored to your unique history and goals. Together, we'll explore the protective patterns that once helped you survive, process unresolved emotional experiences, and create space for lasting change.
Unlike traditional therapy sessions that often pause just as important work begins, an intensive provides the time to gently prepare, engage in deeper therapeutic work, and thoughtfully integrate what has shifted before you leave.
Each Trauma Healing Intensive is individualized, but generally includes:
What to Expect
Clarifying your goals and creating a focused treatment planIdentifying the emotional patterns and protective parts that are keeping you stuckProcessing trauma using evidence-based, memory reconsolidation-informed approachesTime for grounding, reflection, and integration
Practical strategies to support continued healing after the intensive
Each intensive is designed to focus on one primary area of healing or one core trauma-related pattern. This allows us to work deeply and intentionally without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
While many clients experience meaningful shifts during an intensive, healing from trauma is a unique and ongoing process. A single intensive may significantly reduce the emotional impact of a specific memory or pattern, but it is not intended to resolve every aspect of your trauma history. Depending on your goals and experiences, additional therapy or future intensives may be recommended.
Is a Trauma Healing Intensive Right for You?
Trauma Healing Intensives may be a good fit if you are:
Feeling stuck despite previous therapy
Living with the effects of complex trauma or PTSD
Ready to address a specific memory, pattern, or life experience
Looking for a focused therapeutic experience without feeling rushed
Interested in deeper, experiential work that goes beyond coping skills alone
Healing from trauma is not about forcing yourself to relive the past—it's about helping your brain recognize that what once felt necessary for survival is no longer needed. When those deeper emotional learnings begin to shift, new possibilities for healing, connection, and lasting change can emerge.
